The New England Patriots have lived up to coach Mike Vrabel’s hype thus far in free agency making one of the biggest AGGRESSIVE splashes on negotiation day. The Pats BOLSTERED their defenisve front reportedly signing former Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Milton Williams to a four year, $104 million contract. This move immediately upgrades the Pats front seven. Williams had five sacks and a career-high 40 quarterback pressures last season. Those 40 pressures were four more than Williams had in the previous two seasons combined. And His 47.8% of defensive playtime was also a career-high. Williams shined brightest when the biggest spotlight was on him in the Eagles’ Super Bowl win against the Chiefs, when he was one of the best players on the field with two sacks, two stops and four total pressures. If Christian Barmore is able to return to the field in 2025, he and Williams will form an elite tandem along the defensive line. Regardless, Williams arrival in New England will certainly resurrect the Pats defense. #newenglandpatriots
